Marvel Launches Marvel Universe On Disney XD

Seriously, having a block on Disney devoted to Marvel and a Cartoon Network block devoted to DC would have blown my mind when I was a kid, this is awesome news.
On the Spider-man shows direction: I loved Amazing friends when I was a kid and the team dynamic thing is a pretty good way to introduce some of the lesser known street level heroes like Iron Fist, Luke Cage and White Tiger to a new audience while having a diverse cast. (In retrospect Peter Parker and Bobby Drake were the same person with different hair colour)
My one concern is that there seems to be no single character designer, but lots of different Marvel artists with very different styles working on the designs which can’t be good for visual consistency. Compared to DC, Marvel have always had the short end of the stick design wise, just look at any of their 90s output (barring Silver Surfer), so it would be nice to see this show carry the stronger design standards set by Avengers, Spectacular Spider-man and the recent X-Men cartoon.
But it’s got Spider-Ham in it, so I’m pretty much sold on that aspect alone!

EDIT: If you guys can think of a better “City of” for Gotham then let me know. It’s gotta be something positive.
“City of Justice, City of Love, City of Peace for everyone of us” springs to mind. Ah if there was ever a song written by someone who’s never heard of the character, that was it.
Feeling unfortunately uninspired for a daily sketch today, maybe things will pick up later.
